October, Pan Ye started her EngD with Anthony Steed, and she will be contributing to the Beaming Project.

August 20th, Mel Slater's on BBC News Virtual reality tackles tough questions for his study on "men to step inside the body of a woman subjected to violence".

August,  Michael Firman started his PhD with Simon Julier. He will be working on processing laser range finder data.

May 13th, Mel Slater's work on ‘body transfer’ in virtual reality appeared in UCL News. Further results will be presented in Siggraph 2010, and related work was previously featured in NewScientist last year.
